TeamViewer and Manchester United Launch SheSportTech to Empower Women in Sports Technology

TeamViewer, in partnership with Manchester United, has launched the SheSportTech program to promote women’s involvement in sport technology. This initiative highlights the range of opportunities available to women and features testimonials from those who have established careers in this field.

The launch of SheSportTech.com serves as a platform to inspire and support women pursuing technology-related roles in sports.

The website profiles five Manchester United staff members, such as Hannah McLean, Information Security Officer, and Gemma Thompson, Senior Talent and Player Access Manager.

Each profile advocates for more women to consider careers in sport technology and the importance of continuous learning and research in the field.

The SheSportTech initiative also includes a pathway program where selected applicants can receive grants for training or certification in sports tech. They will also be paired with mentors from Manchester United, who will provide career guidance and support.
