Tasmanian Government Extends Sponsorship Agreement with USAFL

The Tasmanian Government has announced the extension of its sponsorship agreement with the United States Australian Football League (USAFL) for a further three years, until the conclusion of the 2026 season.

The partnership between the Tasmanian Government and the USAFL, which has been in place for the past two years, has been mutually beneficial, with both parties working together to increase recognition of the league and Tasmanian businesses in the US market.

With Tasmania recently being granted an AFL club license for the league’s 19th team, the Tasmanian Devils, there are new opportunities for Tasmania in the US, including the sale of foundation memberships.

For Tasmania, this alliance offers an invaluable platform to showcase the high-quality products, and tourism opportunities to a wider audience in the US, fostering economic growth and job creation. The USAFL, on the other hand, stands to gain from Tasmania’s support as it implements new marketing strategies and continues to grow its presence in the US.
