Sydney FC Sign Community Partnership With Rhino Football

Sydney FC have signed a two-year deal with Rhino Football, in doing so becoming an official “community support partner” of the defending A-League champions.

Rhino Sport and Leisure Australia specialise in creating new products which help improve player performance, with the main goal of the partnership to help develop the next generation of Sydney stars.

In a media release, Sydney FC CEO, Danny Townsend, said the partnership is an example of the growing community footprint Sydney FC have in their region.

“Community engagement is a cornerstone of Sydney FC and of our future development, and we are grateful to have a successful brand like Rhino come on board,” Townsend said.

“Rhino are proven to be a reliable and committed sports brand at community level, and I think this partnership will enhance Sydney FC’s reputation as the leading sports club in delivering community programs in the country,” he said.

Sydney FC run a number of school holiday clinics and training programs throughout New South Wales, and kids attending these clinics will be using Rhino’s custom-made footballs and equipment.

Rhino managing director, Craig Brown, said he is excited to work with a club who have developed a successful player pathway to the professional game.

“Sydney FC are the leading community club in the country, and we are delighted to be partnering with them,” Brown said.

“Our investment seeks to improve the performances of every player involved in Sydney FC’s programs, and to make an impact on the overall success of football in Australia,” he said.
