Sydney FC Re-Sign The Star Sydney As Principal Partner For The Next Four Years

The Star Entertainment Group will continue to support both the men’s and women’s Sydney FC teams for the next four years after the casino operator signed an extension to continue as the Sky Blues principal partner.

The Star Sydney’s logo will appear on the front of Sydney FC’s Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League home, away and alternate strips.

It continues the already successful two-year partnership which has seen the Sky Blues win the Hyundai A-League Championship and Premiership, as well as the FFA Cup, while Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League squad won the Championship in the first season of The Star appearing on their front of shirt.

Sydney FC Chairman, Scott Barlow, said: “We have had a highly successful relationship with The Star over the last two years and we are delighted to see that partnership continue for four more seasons.

“Sydney FC and The Star represent two iconic brands providing premium events and entertainment for the people of Sydney.

“We are a great fit and I am excited to see more success and growth together over the next four years.”

The Star Sydney Chief Operating Officer, Damian Quayle, said: “The Star Sydney is thrilled to continue our partnership with Sydney FC supporting both the men’s and women’s teams.

“We are looking forward to cheering the teams on throughout the FFA Cup, Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League seasons ahead.”

“The partnership with Sydney FC continues The Star’s commitment to support the major sports and events in our city.”

The partnership will continue to see high profile Sydney FC events such as the Sky Blue Ball and Foundation Dinner take place at the venue, while The Star Sydney’s Sports Bar will remain the Sky Blues official Home Away From Home venue.
