The Sydney Swans have announced a significant partnership with IVE Group, Australia’s largest diversified marketing firm, as it joins the Swans as an official supplier under a two-year agreement. This collaboration is poised to enhance the Swans’ capabilities in areas such as printing, local marketing initiatives, and content creation.
Since its inception as a local newspaper in 1921, IVE Group has evolved into a prominent ASX-listed entity, boasting a workforce of over 2,000 employees across various sectors, including content production, customer experience, data analytics, packaging, and printing.
Last season, the Swans and IVE Group collaborated effectively to elevate the AFLW, with IVE contributing to signage and fan engagement activities. Building on this foundation, IVE’s creative team will now amplify efforts to cultivate the AFLW audience, primarily through a new content series that aims to introduce fans to Sydney’s female athletes.
Commenting on the partnership, Swans CEO, Tom Harley, said: “We genuinely value our relationship with IVE Group, whose support has already proven invaluable in enhancing our marketing initiatives.”
“Their commitment to growing our AFLW fan base has been particularly evident, and the content series we are initiating this season reflects their dedication to this goal. We’re delighted to welcome Matt and the team at IVE into the Sydney Swans family,” he said.
Managing Director of IVE Group, Matt Aitken, added: “We take great pride in teaming up with the Sydney Swans as an official supplier for the next two years.”
“As a longstanding Australian company dedicated to aiding brands in connecting with their audiences, collaborating with an iconic club like the Swans aligns perfectly with our values. We’re eager to support the team and engage fans in the forthcoming seasons, both on and off the field,” Aitken said.
This partnership not only enhances the operational capabilities of the Sydney Swans but also underscores IVE Group’s ongoing commitment to fostering engagement within Australian sport, particularly as the AFLW continues to gain prominence.
