Supercars Commercial Partnerships Update: TopSport, BP, Armor All

As the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship nears its conclusion, here are all the latest commercial partnerships from the competition.

Supercars have announced Australian betting agency, TopSport, as the official betting and wagering partner of the Repco Bathurst 1000.

As part of the partnership, TopSport will feature at the six-day festival of Australian motorsport taking place at Mount Panorama from 30 November – 5 December through broadcast, on-track signage, consumer promotions, and activations.

TopSport CEO, Tristan Merlehan, said the partnership activations will have a large focus on digital content integration with the hopes of providing fans with a deeper understanding of the data driving the Supercars competition.

“The team at TopSport are really excited to be partnering with the Supercars team for this year’s Bathurst 1000,” Merlehan said.

“We feel there are many synergies between the brands, and being 100 per cent Australian owned, we understand the importance of the Bathurst event to a large number of Aussies in all corners of the country.

“We look forward to offering a market leading range of options on the event for our customers to wager on,” he said.

Elsewhere, Supercars has announced bp has claimed the official naming rights for the bp Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint, taking place over the weekend of 13-14 November, adding on to the brand’s partnership of Supercars as the official fuel supplier for the competition.

On the bp deal, Supercars general manager of commercial, Jamie Black, said: “We’re delighted bp has extended its partnership with Supercars and will be the naming rights partner of the bp Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint.”

“This event is significant for our category and our sponsors.

“Fans around the world will be tuning in to see our return to racing.

“To have an industry leader on board, continuing to support our sport as the naming rights partner of this event is great news,” he said.

Lastly, Armor All has secured the naming rights of the Armor All Sydney SuperSprint on the weekend of 6-7 November, adding on their existing partnership as the official car care products sponsor and naming rights sponsor of Armor All Qualifying and Pole Award for the competition.
