inistry of Sport Corporation (MOS Corporation) and Sunshine Coast Lightning have announced a new content partnership, with the goal of delivering amplified public relations opportunities and digital content for the Lightning.

The two organisations will work together to produce exclusive content for the Lightning’s digital platforms to drive fan emotional connection and commercial objectives.

The increased resources provided from MOS Corporation in the partnership will provide scope to extend the brand’s reach, national awareness, and influence across the elite sporting landscape.

Speaking on the announcement, MOS Corporation founder, Ben Parsons, said: “We are excited to announce a new partnership with Sunshine Coast Lightning as we expand MOS Corporation offering to market, working with brands, administrators and governments on strategy, execution, and relationship management.”

“This is one of the multiple announcements you will see from us in the coming weeks and to start this journey with the Lightning is a privilege.

“Sunshine Coast Lightning are a great organisation and we are excited to be able to help guide them in their ambitions of becoming the top organisation in Australian sport,” he said.

Sunshine Coast Lightning general manager of commercial, Matthew Williams, said he strongly endorsed the partnership as the club moves into its 5th year of operation.

“Ministry of Sport is a reputable voice in the global sporting landscape and we look forward to leveraging the partnership in 2021,” Williams said.

“The power of digital has become increasingly apparent in the past 18 months and as a club we have looked to harness our own channels to not only tell our story but also benefit our partners through meaningful content.

“Strategically the MOS Partnership will also provide an exciting platform to highlight our B2B Partner network and the successful outcomes that have organically arisen through sponsor connections and our links to Sunshine Coast Council and Melbourne Storm to name a few,” he said.
