American sportswear manufacturer, Under Armour, has extended its deal with the Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) for another year.

After successful collaboration during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 NBL seasons, Under Armour will continue as both Supply Partner and Official Compression Partner for the upcoming 2019/20 season.

NBL Chief Commercial Officer, Brad Joyner, said: “We have been delighted with the first two seasons of the Under Armour partnership and are excited to grow the relationship.

“Under Armour is a premier producer of high-performance apparel and footwear and are becoming serious players in basketball, with Stephen Curry as their feature athlete and we are thrilled to be extending our partnership.

“There’s never been a better time to be part of the NBL and the exciting growth story that is Australian basketball.

“This season promises to be the biggest yet with a new team South East Melbourne and some big names joining the league.”

The NBL season tips off on Thursday, October 3 with the inaugural ‘Throwdown’ between Melbourne United and South East Melbourne Phoenix at Melbourne Arena.
