Stats Perform Transforms Sports Media With PressBox Expansion

Sports data and analytics company, Stats Perform, has announced expanded capabilities in its PressBox platform, which gives media a streamlined set of tools to deliver content to fans.

Announced at Stat Perform’s ‘moments that matter’ showcase, the expanded capabilities include:

  • PressBox Graphics receiving graphics creator functionality suited to mobile devices called PressBox Graphics mobile.
  • PressBox Live coverage to the NFL and NCAA, with direct access to data and insights through their data editorial team.
  • PressBox Videos expanded in-platform editing capabilities, increased access to global sports video content facilitated through a pay-as-you-go sports video plan.

The additions will aim to simplify workflows and increase access to the assets sports media content creators need to engage fans, with the three areas also enabling access to data, historical context and mobile content creation on an integrated digital platform.

Commenting on the expansion, vice president of media products at Stats Perform, Paul Every, said: “We know the modern-day fan wants timely, relevant, quick and easy to consume content.”

“The challenge for media broadcasters and publishers is identifying key storylines, from the key moments, and then bringing them to life.”

PressBox not only identifies the key storylines, but it also gives customers the tools to publish them to their audience in engaging ways,” he said.

Chief product and marketing officer at Stats Perform, Nancy Hensley, said the expansion meets current demands of sports fans.

“With this offering, Stats Perform continues to drive transformative value and lead industry innovation, capturing moments that matter to meet the demands of today’s fan,” said Hensley.
