Global sports data company, Stats Perform, has revealed five new products focused on live streaming, players stats bets, same game multis and other sports betting experiences.
The products focus on improving sports betting experiences through the provision of more informative and engaging data with the use of AI and Stats Perform’s Opta data.
Included in the new products are two focused on the value for sportsbooks and betters through Stats Perform’s Watch&Bet live video service, which was relaunched as Bet LiveStreams.
The Instant Highlights product will deliver on-demand live action replays to Bet LiveStreams while the Smart Stats Overlays product will display contextual, betting-specific Opta data and insights in real-time over the live stream.
Elsewhere, three products utilising AI and Opta data will hope to help operators inform bettors more broadly across a sportsbook, with the Dynamic Betting Stats API product to help bettors find, track and manage their bets in unique ways.
The Automated Betting Insights product will offer small in-play and pre-game analysis for specific markets, and the Automated Betting Previews product will provide written or video previews for events and athletes pre-game and at half-time.
Discussing the new products, Stats Perform chief betting officer, Andrew Ashenden, said: “Our new products mark a seismic shift in the ability of licensed betting operators to provide relevant, betting-tailored sports content to their audiences.”
“They create highly contextual, personalised and more entertaining experiences across the sportsbook as a result,” Ashenden said.
On the implications for the sports industry and sportsbooks around the world, Stats Perform vice president of betting products, Nick Cockerill, said the increased engagement opportunities for sportsbooks highlights the growth of data.
“Sportsbooks can use these new products to build genuinely disruptive, personalised and informative experiences, throughout a bet’s lifecycle,” Cockerill said.
“It’s the biggest leap forward in access to player stats and on-field action in sports betting history, which makes it so much easier and more engaging for bettors to find and then enjoy their bet.

The announcement immediately follows recent news Stats Perform has added both the NFL and NCAA Football seasons to its PressBox Live platform for their upcoming seasons, enabling content creators access to the data and AI-powered dashboard.
The move will see real-time insights, stats and facts around in-game developments delivered via a customised newsfeed, The Stream, while simultaneously highlighting key betting insights alongside play-by-play coverage.
