Stats Perform Adds PressBox Graphics

Stats Perform has announced the launch of PressBox Graphics, joining the wider PressBox platform with the hope of empowering users to produce visualisations with data and insights in seconds.

The addition comes after Stats Perform’s acquisition of 13 Strides earlier this year, and as part of the full integration of the legacy Opta Graphics platform into PressBox.

The move will see PressBox able to provide in-play storytelling, video discovery and now visual content creation through a single platform across different mediums including social media, broadcast, stadium screens, or scoreboards.

Stats Perform chief product and marketing officer, Nancy Hensley, said adding PressBox Graphics to the PressBox platform aligns with Stats Perform’s strategic focus on fan engagement and helping clients succeed in the competitive sports media market.

“We are excited to have PressBox Graphics join the PressBox platform, not only is this enabling high speed production of stunning visuals, but it is now easier for our clients to leverage the entire PressBox suite of products, all powered by the world’s best sports data and AI,” Hensley said.

“Content is king, and time is money, with PressBox Graphics, we can address both challenges,” she said.

The program has already been used across Australia sport, with the Sydney Sixers utilising PressBox Graphics while integrating Stats Perform’s cricket data feed during the latest Big Bash League (BBL) season.

Sydney Sixers partnerships manager, Andrew Kelly, said the program boosted reach and engagement numbers on social content.

“PressBox Graphics proved to be a great addition for the 2020-21 BBL season,” Kelly said.

“They provided a suite of new social media assets which allowed us as a commercial team to quickly customise relevant graphics for our partners, and credibly position them with fan-first content that added value for fans by providing an additional layer of information…,” he said.
