St. Louis CITY SC has entered into a naming rights agreement with Energizer Holdings, rebranding its stadium as Energizer Park.

This partnership aligns two prominent St. Louis entities, underscoring their commitment to the local community and the growing prominence of soccer in the region.

Energizer Holdings, a global leader in battery manufacturing headquartered in St. Louis, sees this collaboration as a strategic move to enhance community engagement and brand visibility.

Mark LaVigne, President and CEO of Energizer Holdings, stated, “This partnership allows us to engage our community in new ways and expand our brand’s reach.”

The stadium, previously known as CITYPARK, is a 22,500-seat soccer-specific venue located in the Downtown West neighbourhood. It serves as the home ground for St. Louis CITY SC and has been recognised for its state-of-the-art facilities and vibrant matchday atmosphere. The venue is part of a 31-acre development that includes the club’s training facilities and corporate offices, representing a significant investment in the local sports infrastructure.

While the exact financial terms of the naming rights agreement have not been disclosed, industry estimates suggest that such deals in Major League Soccer can range from $3 million to $5 million annually. This partnership is expected to provide substantial financial support to the club, facilitating further development and community initiatives.

Carolyn Kindle, CEO of St. Louis CITY SC, commented on the partnership, stating, “Energizer aligns with CITY SC in so many ways. It’s an innovative brand embodying long-lasting energy, matching the passion and energy of our fans on matchdays.”

The rebranding to Energizer Park is set to take effect in 2025, with both organisations expressing enthusiasm about the opportunities this partnership will bring to the St. Louis community and the broader sports industry.
