South Australian Government Announces Multi-Million Dollar Upgrade to Netball SA Stadium

The South Australian government has announced an $80 million redevelopment of Netball SA Stadium, repurposing the space to a new multi-sport facility.

With of 35,000 South Australians participating in netball at grassroots level, this investment will see all 26 netball courts at Mile End upgraded with better shelter, improved lighting, and new playing surfaces.

Upgrades to the indoor complex will also feature a 3000 seat show court, opening the door for more national sporting events to be hosted in South Australia and for other indoor sports, such as volleyball, to utilise the space.

The planned upgrades are expected to enhance the overall experience for netball players and spectators alike, providing state-of-the-art facilities for training and competitions.

The redevelopment will be completed in two stages, with the indoor facility due to be finished in late 2027.
