Sharks Announce Partnership with Bath Haus Cronulla

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks has announced its partnership with Bath Haus Cronulla as its Official Recovery Partner for the 2025 season.

The partnership gives Shark’s players access to infrared and traditional saunas, cold plunges and contrast therapy, all aimed at enhancing physical recovery and minimising injury risk through the season.

While not uncommon across elite men’s programs, formal recovery partnerships are becoming increasingly prevalent in women’s sport, as clubs invest in performance infrastructure to meet rising competition standards. For the Sharks, the partnership aims to deliver both immediate physical benefits and long-term performance gains.

Commenting on the partnership, Sharks General Manager, Partnerships & Hospitality, Kylie Lucas, said: “Our players are already raving about how energised and refreshed they feel after a Bath Haus session.”

“Recovery and maintenance are more important than ever for success,” Lucas said.

Sharing the focus on high-performance for the women’s team, and that this partnership offers both reputational and operational upside, co-founder of Bath Haus Cronulla, Matt Worthington, added: “We’re incredibly proud to support these exceptional athletes, this partnership reflects our shared commitment to strength, community and excellence.”

In addition, the deal strengthens the Sharks’ connection with the local Cronulla business community and reflects Bath Haus Cronulla’s positioning as a premium wellness destination in the region. Located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire, the centre has developed a strong local clientele, with the Shark’s partnership expected to enhance visibility and brand equity.

As the NRLW continues to scale its profile and competitive structure, such partnerships highlight the increasing professionalisation of women’s teams — not just in match preparation but in the off-field ecosystem of health, wellness, and recovery.
