Global sports tech company, Sportradar, has announced co-founder of Seven.One sports, Stefan Zant, as its new head of global sports and content partnerships.
Zant, previously the CEO of the sports business unit of German broadcaster, ProSibenSat.1, brings a wealth of business experience in the sports industry, both as a media company co-founder and former professional athlete.
He will now lead a focus on developing Sportradar’s relationships with its new and existing rights holders.
Commenting on the announcement, Stefan Zant, said: “After dedicating the last 7 years to build one of the most successful sports media companies, I will now deepdive into the heart of sports data, technology and AI.”
“Anyhow, the business logic stays the same: We will create the sports ecosystems of the future which fans will love and engage with,” he said.
This announcement comes after Sportradar priced an IPO at US$7.4 Billion Valuation.
