ports Entertainment Network (SEN) has announced it has secured national audio rights of the TAB Everest and Iron Jack Golden Eagle, which will further expand its coverage of the major race meeting this spring.

Racing fans will able to tune into the SEN radio network and nine SENTrack stations around the country on Everest Day this Saturday, which is the world’s richest race, based at Royal Randwick.

SEN will also be at Rosehill when they host the Iron Jack Golden Eagle, a 1500m race for four-year-olds and Australia’s third richest race.

The deal comes after the signing of former Group one-winning jockey, Katelyn Mallyon, who has joined SEN as co-host with Jimmy Smith of The Racing State each Friday morning at 10am, focusing on New South Wales racing.

SEN chief executive officer, Craig Hutchison, said he was excited to partner with Racing NSW to cover its major events.

“We are excited to cover such an iconic event as the Everest and a couple of weeks later the Golden Eagle in what promises to be a celebration of world-class racing,” Hutchison said.

“We are proud to partner with Racing NSW to deliver premium coverage of Sydney’s pinnacle events and to share all the heart-stopping action with listeners around the country via our SEN network – including our SENTrack radio stations, SEN.com.au and our SEN app,” he said.

SENTrack’s New South Wales stations – 1539 Sydney, 801 Central Coast and 1575 Wollongong – will air a dedicated Everest Day and race audio of all races, which will be hosted by Matt White in Sydney.

The call of all races will air on trackside across the rest of SENTrack network and on stations such as 1116 SEN in Melbourne and 1629 SEN SA in Adelaide.

Coverage will also be available via live-stream on the SEN website and the SEN app.
