SEN Enhances Cricket Broadcasts with In-Stadium and At-Home Synchronisation Tools

image

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is elevating cricket broadcasts this summer with two innovative tools, SEN Stadium and SEN Sync, debuting during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Series. These technologies aim to deliver seamless, real-time commentary for fans both at matches and watching from home.

SEN Stadium allows fans at the ground to listen to live commentary through their mobile devices, perfectly synced with the on-field action. Accessible via the SEN app, the feature eliminates delays, providing a more immersive experience.

For viewers at home, SEN Sync offers the capability to align SEN’s radio commentary with television broadcasts. This function allows fans to enjoy their preferred audio commentary in perfect sync with the visual feed, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

The commentary team for the series includes notable figures such as Gerard Whateley, Adam Collins, Damien Fleming, Simon Katich, Ian Healy, Lisa Sthalekar, and former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri. Their combined expertise is expected to provide comprehensive and insightful coverage throughout the series.

These tools address common frustrations with broadcast delays and mismatched audio feeds, showcasing SEN’s focus on enhancing fan engagement. By leveraging technology to create a more connected experience, SEN is setting a new standard in sports broadcasting that could influence other networks and sports in the future.

The deployment of SEN Stadium and SEN Sync during the high-profile Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test Series will serve as a significant test of these technologies. Their performance could influence future broadcasting strategies and the adoption of similar technologies across other sports and networks.
