Global investment platform eToro have announced a new three-year partnership to become a major partner of Rugby Australia.

eToro will be the naming rights partner for all inbound tests including The Rugby Championship until the end of 2023 with the eToro logo on all official branding.

“Australia is an important market for the eToro group and I’m delighted we are partnering once again with the Wallabies,” eToro Australian managing director, Robert Francis said.

eToro currently sponsors six Premiere League clubs and six Bundesliga clubs as well as Tennis player, Gael Monfils.

Rugby Australia have also announced the 2021 eToro France Series as the first three tests of the Wallabies’ 2021 match schedule.

The test series will take place in July across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane making it the first time since 2014 the ‘Les Bleus’ have toured in Australia.

The tests will be broadcast on both Stan Sport and the Nine Network due to a recent three-year deal that saw Nine Entertainment secure exclusive rights to Rugby Australia

Rugby Australia CEO, Andy Marinos said he was excied for the upcoming series, drawing on his past memories of midweek tests “with the Sydney Football Stadium packed to the rafters.”

“As we navigate our way through the ever-changing sporting landscape that we now operate within, we do so with the continued safety of all those involved in these test matches, along with the communities in which we play, remaining our number one priority,” Marinos said.

Marinos said world rugby associations would continue having an ongoing dialogue in planning events and make sure they comply with the advice of the relevant medical authorities.
