Roka partners with new beach volleyball series
Performance eyewear manufacturer Roka Sports, has announced a partnership with five-time Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings’s new beach volleyball event series p1440.
Roka was named the official lifestyle and competition sunglass partner for this series, which staged its first event in San Jose over the weekend.
The multisport brand will be onsite at all four of the p1440 events this year, including further stops in Las Vegas, San Diego and Huntington Beach.
During the events, Roka will equip athletes, retail eyewear and lifestyle products and run a number of promotions for athletes and spectators.
Beach volleyball champion Kerri Walsh Jennings said: “Our intention is for everyone who attends a p1440 event to take the mission, purpose and lifestyle beyond the weekend.
“That’s why it’s so important for us to have like-minded partners who share in that mission of supporting healthy, active lifestyles.”
Roka CEO and Co-founder Rob Canales believes that p1440 is a perfect partnership for Roka because they share a similar mission.
