The Melbourne Renegades have renewed and extended their deals with two of their biggest sponsors, Mars and Carsales.

For the last two years, Mars has been a Principal Partner with the Renegades and has had their logo displayed on the front of the club’s BBL playing shirt.

This season the logo will once again, don the front of their WBBL playing shirt.

Mars Wrigley Confectionery Marketing Director, Suzanne Morrison said: “Mars has a long history of partnering with great Australian sports teams, and we are delighted to see our relationship with the Melbourne Renegades continue for a third year as a Principal Partner for both the Women’s and Men’s teams.”

Carsales has renewed its partnership across the BBL and WBBL teams for another two seasons, having already been a Major Partner with the club for the last two years.

Chief Marketing Officer, Kellie Cordner said: “This season shapes to be a landmark period for the Big Bash League and we are delighted to have the carsales branding once again featured across the Melbourne Renegades WBBL and BBL teams supporting their pursuit of the ultimate success throughout the summer.”

Renegades CEO, Stuart Coventry said interest in the WBBL is also at an all-time high.

“It’s through partnerships like the ones we’ve enjoyed with Mars and carsales that we’ve been able to grow the Big Bash product quite significantly in recent years and we’re really excited to take these partnerships to a new level this season.”

Channel Seven’s live broadcast of the Women’s T20 International between Australia and New Zealand last weekend, reached a peak television audience of almost 1.3 million viewers.
