Quayclean Australia Signs New Three-Year Metricon Stadium Contract

Australian-owned cleaning and presentation company, Quayclean Australia, will introduce innovative infrastructure and technology to assist with waste movement and separation after being awarded the cleaning and presentation contract for Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.

Under the initial three-year agreement, Quayclean has set key waste recycling targets for the venue.

Quayclean Australia CEO, Mark Piwkowski, said the company’s leading-edge recycling and waste management programs are key pillars in its modern cleaning practices.

“The cleaning services industry has evolved where clients are demanding more sustainable outcomes.

“Our responsible recycling and waste management solutions result in diminishing volumes of waste going to landfill while generating considerable savings for clients,” Piwkowski said.

“Our clients understand and respect the importance of top-quality site presentation and cleaning while developing systems, technologies and resources that optimise labour in the most efficient manner,” he said.

Quayclean is familiar with Metricon Stadium after it was awarded the cleaning and presentation contract by the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Organising Corporation (GOLDOC) for the Stadium and 11 other competition venues during the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Apart from Suns AFL games, Metricon Stadium’s calendar of major events is expanding with three Big Bash League cricket games in December and January, plus several outdoor concerts including the Queen + Adam Lambert Rhapsody Tour on February 29.

The addition of Metricon Stadium to its national portfolio now sees Quayclean manage services for 11 AFL teams which play at the Gabba, SCG, Marvel Stadium, Adelaide Oval and GMHBA Stadium in Geelong.

Quayclean also manages cleaning and presentation services for Cbus Stadium and the Gabba in Brisbane.
