Qatar Airways has announced a multi-year partnership with tennis legend Novak Djokovic, appointing him as its Global Brand Ambassador and Wellness Advisor. This collaboration aligns the 24-time Grand Slam champion and 2024 Olympic gold medallist with one of the world’s leading airlines, a partnership focused on shared values of excellence, resilience, and global influence.

The announcement took place at the Altitude Wellness Centre in Qatar, a location symbolic of high performance and well-being. As part of the agreement, Djokovic will work with Qatar Airways to promote travel and wellness while furthering the airline’s involvement in global tennis events, including the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, now elevated to an ATP 500 tournament.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, highlighted the partnership’s alignment, stating that Djokovic’s relentless drive and record-breaking career mirror the airline’s commitment to excellence. In return, Djokovic expressed admiration for Qatar Airways’ focus on customer service and holistic well-being, values he prioritises in his professional and personal life.

Qatar Airways will integrate Djokovic’s Regenesis Pod technology, designed to enhance recovery and optimise performance, into its operations, redefining recovery practices for both athletes and the airline’s staff while demonstrating its commitment to cutting-edge sports science. The partnership also includes exclusive activations at major tennis tournaments, such as hospitality experiences at Grand Slam events, further strengthening Qatar Airways’ presence in the sports industry. Leveraging Djokovic’s influence, the airline aims to elevate the visibility of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, attracting top-tier talent and solidifying the tournament’s status as a premier global event.

Qatar Airways continues to expand its portfolio of sports partnerships, which includes collaborations with FIFA, Formula 1®, UEFA, and the Brooklyn Nets. This latest partnership with Djokovic underscores the airline’s ongoing commitment to connecting with global audiences through sports and innovation.
