Papua New Guinea-based corned beef company Ox & Palm have secured the official naming rights for the Pacific Test Invitational until 2020.

Ox & Palm, a subsidiary of the world’s fifth-largest food and beverage company Kraft Heinz, are one of the top producers of corned beef in the region.

The two-year partnership with the Pacific Test Invitational is a first for the business.

As Official Naming Rights Partner, Ox & Palm will feature on major assets pertaining to the Ox & Palm Pacific Test Invitational, including integration into broadcast, signage, events, community promotional activities, as well as via the event’s digital and social media channels.

“Ox & Palm have a strong connection to the Pasifika and Melanesian communities with Ox & Palm products a regular in households right throughout the region. We couldn’t be happier to have them onboard and look forward to growing the partnership over the coming years.” Senior Manager of Pacific Strategy Frank Puletua said.

“I’m sure Ox & Palm will enjoy their rugby league sponsorship debut too, as the event remains one of the most passionate, colourful and exciting events on the rugby league calendar.”
