Perth Glory’s exclusive networking group is set to continue during the 2019/20 Hyundai A-Leauge season after the club secured the backing of PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia (PwC) as the groups’ principal corporate sponsor.
The Glory In Business program, which was introduced in 2018, is a key pillar of the commercial strategy of Perth Glory FC and will play a significant part in the growth of the club.
PwC, an audit, assurance, consulting and tax services company to more than 5000 clients, will provide the resources to ensure the networking group helps support the club’s aim of being sustainably successful.
Perth Glory Chief Executive Officer, Tony Pignata, believes that the partnership with PwC Australia reflects the increasing stature of both Glory as a club and Glory In Business as a program.
“PwC is a global powerhouse in its field and one of the most widely recognised and respected of all corporate brands,” he said.
“Securing such an organisation as the principal corporate sponsor of our Glory In Business program represents a genuine coup for the club and we are hugely excited at the prospect of working closely with PwC Australia and further strengthening this relationship.”
PwC Partner, Jason Knott, meanwhile, is similarly delighted by the link-up.
“Perth Glory Football Club has a long history in Western Australia and we are excited to be supporting them,” he said.
“Glory had an amazing 2018/19 season and the ‘Tonys’, Sage, Pignata and Popovic, have the right formula to continue on their winning ways.
“This collaboration will bring the WA business community together to network and identify new opportunities for WA business.”
