Paris Saint-Germain Secures Multi-Year Partnership with Google, Welcoming Gemini and Pixel to Club Ecosystem

Paris Saint-Germain has signed a partnership with Google running through to 2029, the agreement establishes Google Gemini as the club’s official artificial intelligence assistant and Google Pixel as its official smartphone, marking a major milestone in the integration of advanced technology within professional football.

The organisation aims to streamline digital content production, enhance creative asset development, and elevate fan engagement across its global ecosystem.

As part of the comprehensive arrangement, Google Pixel devices will be deployed extensively across matches, training sessions, and behind-the-scenes environments to capture high-quality original content.

Chief revenue officer of Paris Saint-Germain, Richard Heaselgrave, noted that the partnership reflects the organisation’s ongoing ambition to collaborate with industry-leading technology companies to pioneer new methods of connecting with supporters worldwide. Echoing these sentiments, marketing director of Google France, Jean-Philippe Becane, highlighted that the agreement successfully unites Google’s premier technologies with one of Europe’s most recognised football brands to redefine how supporters interact with the club.

This move aligns with a broader industry trend where professional sports organisations increasingly rely on mobile technology alongside traditional broadcast equipment to feed their digital media channels and satisfy surging supporter demand for immediate, immersive content.

Furthermore, the partnership features a dedicated Google activation space at the Parc des Princes, providing partners, creators, and invited guests with exclusive access to Google’s cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence innovations.

Over the past year, leading sporting entities have increasingly embraced automated content creation, advanced performance analytics, and AI-driven supporter experiences.
