O’Neills Becomes Hockey Australia Apparel Partner

Hockey Australia has announced sportswear company, O’Neills, as its new official apparel partner until at least 2025.

As part of the deal, O’Neills will provide the apparel for all of Hockey Australia’s squads, including the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos, the organisation’s high performance and pathway programs, and the domestic men’s and women’s hockey competition, the Sultana Bran Hockey One League.

Hockey Australia acting CEO, Michael Johnston, said: “To secure and align with an apparel brand and manufacturer of O’Neills’ quality is fantastic for hockey in this country.”

“The design options and versatility of what O’Neills offers, coupled with their willingness to take on feedback and provide the best possible apparel for our national programs has been first rate and will contribute to our ongoing aim of being the world’s best hockey nation.

“We look forward to working with the O’Neills team over the next four years and displaying and promoting their brand on the international stage,” Johnston said.

O’Neills sales manager, James Muir, said the deal extends the scope of O’Neills in Australian sport, including partnerships with teams in the AFL, NRL, and Super Rugby Pacific.

“O’Neills is delighted to partner with Hockey Australia through to the next Olympics as official apparel provider,” Muir said.

“Both organisations have strong and successful histories and our values clearly align.

“It is very exciting to be able to combine the passion and expertise from both sides into a formidable partnership striving to give the best possible service to Hockey Australia members and supporters.

“We are really excited about this partnership and look forward to working with the Hockey Australia team and providing the highest-level quality and service,” he said.
