NWSL, Adobe Announce Multi-Year Creative Partnership

The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and Adobe have announced a multi-year partnership dedicated to supporting the creativity and voices of women’s sport.

The partnership will advance equity and level the playing field for all  NWSL athletes by empowering them through Brand Building Workshops and the launch of their inaugural ‘Creator Class” creativity program.

The workshops will provide athletes with access to Adobe’s creative and digital marketing tools, personal brand training sessions and connecting them to marketing experts, enabling them to develop their own brand and share their stories.

Commenting on the partnership, NWSL Commissioner, Jessica Berman said the partnership will not only showcase the stories of their athletes but also celebrate them as dynamic and diverse individuals.

“This partnership with Adobe will help our athletes tell their stories in creative ways and truly showcase the diverse and dynamic individuals who take the pitch each week in our league,” she said.

The ‘Creator Class’ program will provide women creators with a passion of soccer to create projects as well as an opportunity to earn commissions.

Each season four Creator Class participants will get exclusive behind-the-scenes access to NWSL team and league moments, learn the process from independent women filmmakers and be inspired by creativity beyond the game.

The chosen participants will also receive US$10,000 (AUD $14,182) to develop creative projects using the Adobe suite.

The announcement comes after the NWSL handed out lifetime bans to four coaches.
