North Melbourne Announces Australian Venue Co and PACE Partnerships

The North Melbourne Kangaroos have announced partnerships with both Australian Venue Co and PACE, for two and three seasons respectively.

The two-year deal with Australian Venue Co, sees them become the club’s official hospitality partner and will make The Wharf Hotel their official pre and post-game venue.

North Melbourne managing director & CEO, Carl Dilena, said this announcement is exciting for club members and fans.

“It’s all about creating a memorable game day experience and The Wharf Hotel is within a stone’s throw of Marvel Stadium, making it the perfect venue.

“We encourage our members and fans to take advantage and make the trip to Marvel together over the next couple of seasons,” Mr Dilena said.

As part of the partnership with Australian Venue Co, The Wharf Hotel will provide North’s partners and supporters with access to special food and beverage offers on game days.

The Wharf Hotel is located approximately 10 minutes’ walk away from the Kangaroos’ home, Marvel Stadium, on the banks of the Yarra River.

This hospitality partnership announcement has complimented the signing of Pace Development Group, a mixed-use property developer and builder, as an official partner for the next three years.

Pace Development Group managing director, Shane Wilkinson, said the partnership will benefit all parties, along with local residents and fans.

“Nothing is more Melbourne than football, so it made perfect sense to align ourselves with a proudly Melburnian club that shares so many of the values we hold dear.

“With a number of exciting residential projects in Melbourne’s north, we’re excited to join in the Shinboner spirit and celebrate the northern suburbs that so many fans call home,” Mr Wilkinson added.

The deal includes Pace Development Group featuring at a number of club member events and working with not-for-profit organisation, The Huddle, to develop community programs and environmental initiatives aimed at giving back to the local community.
