Nike Extends Partnership with Brazilian Football Confederation

Nike has extended its partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) for another 12 years, solidifying its role as the exclusive sports sponsor and supplier for Brazil’s national football teams. This marks the beginning of the fourth decade of collaboration between the two entities, which started in 1996.

The renewed partnership will continue to support both men’s and women’s national teams, including youth, Olympic, and futsal squads, and continue providing the teams with their uniforms.

Key objectives include expanding women’s football, promoting racial equality, and increasing grassroots participation across Brazil. Nike has committed to helping elevate women’s football in Brazil, with a focus on enhancing visibility and creating opportunities for athletes. This includes providing the national women’s teams with the latest apparel, footwear, and support, as well as backing CBF’s initiatives to improve the infrastructure for women’s football at all levels. Nike’s involvement aligns with broader efforts to promote gender equality within the sport.

The partnership also includes support for CBF’s social initiatives aimed at increasing football participation, particularly among underserved communities. Nike will help fund development programs targeting youth, with a focus on gender equality and inclusion.

Nike and CBF will collaborate on environmental initiatives, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of football-related activities. This includes using sustainable materials in the production of kits and other merchandise.
