NFL Agree Canadian Betting Deal

The National Football League (NFL), alongside exclusive data distributor Genius Sports, has reached a licensing agreement with three betting companies in Canada.

Bet99, Rivalry and Bet365 will now all be able to provide customers in Canada with live video streams of NFL matches.

The three companies will use Genius Sport’s streaming capabilities, the ‘Watch and Bet Solution’, to bring low latency streams and live data feeds to punters.

The deal comes as Canada loosens restrictions around sports betting, although regulations are different on a province-by-province basis.

Commenting on the deal, Genius Sports CEO, Mark Locke, said: “We are delighted that the NFL has broadened its partnership with Genius Sports to become the exclusive provider of official data and live streaming content for sportsbooks across Canada.”

“We connect the global sports ecosystem through cutting-edge data technology, and our official solutions will help Bet365, Bet99 and Rivalry to thrive in the newly legalized Canadian market,” he finished.

The move follows a similar betting deal in the Canadian Basketball League.
