Under the new deal, KommunityTV will exclusively broadcast matches from Tennis Australia’s five remaining Australian junior championship events in 2024. Every game of the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League National Championships will also be available to stream.
Each live stream will be complemented by news stories and profiles covering teams, clubs, and players in The Daily Telegraph, the Herald Sun, the Courier-Mail, and The Advertiser.
In April, KommunityTV broadcast several national sporting events, including Basketball Australia’s Under-18 and Junior Wheelchair National Championships, Netball Australia’s National Netball Championships, Tennis Australia’s Australian Junior Clay Court Championships, Water Polo Australia’s Australian Water Polo League, and the Australian Little Athletics Championships. These events collectively amassed over 1.7 million minutes of viewership during the month.
