Rise Up! with Ministry of Sport, in association with Sunshine Coast Council, have announced head of PR at Angel City Football Club, head of global communications at MKTG Sports + Entertainment and GM of hospitality and events, Australia, Stephanie Rudnik, as a speaker at the upcoming Women in Sport Summit (WIS) 2021.

Taking place at the home of the Sunshine Coast Lightning, USC Stadium, on Friday 25 June, the Women in Sport Summit 2021 promises exclusive access, coveted conversations and game changing discussions, all while inspiring women to rise up and dream, believe, create and succeed.

Moving to Sydney with her family in 2020, where she rejoined dentsu’s global sports and entertainment agency, MKTG, whilst also heading the PR team at her beloved Angel City FC, LA’s newest professional sports team which actress Natalie Portman has a stake in.

Rudnick is a brand management and communications strategist with over 20 years experience across numerous industries.

Speaking on the announcement, Rudnick said she was excited to be attending the summit and to exchange ideas.

“I’m thrilled to join the WIS and share my experience in launching a league, a team and working in an incredible agency, in the hopes that the audience takes away actionable learnings that can help make an impact,” Rudnick said.

“I’m looking forward to the Summit as I have been so blown away by not just the the connectedness of the sports industry in this country, but by the women driving so much of the conversation and the evolution both on and off-the-field.

“I can’t wait to get into a room of like-minded people to talk sport, share stories and build friendships,” she said.
