Netflix Partners With League Of Legends To Air Esports Documentary

Netflix has entered the world of Esports, announcing a new partnership with League of Legends (LoL) to air a documentary series centred around the competition.

Airing December 21st,  ‘7 Days Out’ will feature four teams from the 2018 North American League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) as they prepare for the finals in Miami.

The documentary will include behind-the-scenes access to the finals, exposing the lives and routines of gamers a week out from the most important event of their respective seasons.

A press release explained: ‘At the core of each episode is a passionate group of people who have everything at stake in order to achieve their vision/dream.

‘We are so used to seeing the perfect moment, and each episode takes viewers on a behind-the-scenes journey where we see the fear, anxiety and hard work that goes into successfully pulling off these extraordinary events.’
