Australian smart home system manufacturer MyPlace has announced a three-year extension of its principal partnership with the Penrith Panthers, locking in its prominent branding on the club’s jerseys, apparel, and digital networks through the end of the 2029 NRL season.
Since initiating their principal partnership in 2024, the collaboration has aligned a premier Australian technology pioneer with one of the most dominant and commercially successful franchises in rugby league. MyPlace, renowned for its innovative integrated air conditioning and energy-saving technology designed to reduce household power bills by up to 46 per cent, views the high-profile sponsorship as an effective vehicle for consumer engagement and community connection.
Highlighting the shared values driving the continued alignment, MyPlace group GM, Darren Bee, said: “Successful partnerships are built on shared values. We admire the Panthers dedication to their players, supporters, and wider community, along with their commitment to developing individuals at all levels.”
“Nothing connects Australian’s more than sport, and we are pleased we can continue to connect with our customers and community through this sponsorship.
“A premiership winning team and premium Australian technology is a great collaboration if you ask us.”
“Programs like this help young people feel connected to their community and feel inspired by their local team.
“Creating lasting memories for these kids is something we’re incredibly proud of,” Mr Bee said.
Welcoming the long-term extension, and praising the enduring cultural and commercial synergy between the two organisations, Penrith Panthers Group CEO, Andrew Hill, added: “The Penrith Panthers values the strong relationship we’ve built with MyPlace.”
“We are proud to connect this Australian-made company with our passionate fans and strong community ties.
“We have a winning culture at the club that drives long-term success and we recognise this attribute in MyPlace too, as Australian tech pioneers for more than 35 years,” Mr Hill said.
As both organisations look toward the future, the renewed partnership reinforces MyPlace’s objective to cement its presence within Western Sydney while providing sustainable financial backing for the reigning premiers.
Beyond brand visibility, the renewed agreement preserves MyPlace’s active philanthropic and community collaboration through the Panthers Foundation, which delivers vital educational and social programs across Western Sydney.
Over the course of the partnership, MyPlace has funded student grants within the Panthers’ School and Business Diploma Program, powered by SEDA, while providing hundreds of local students with free access to home fixtures.
