Miami University has officially become the education partner for the Cincinnati Bengals, solidifying its role as the Official University of one of the NFL’s most dynamic franchises.

The relationship between Miami University and the Bengals is deeply rooted, with franchise founder, Paul Brown, as a notable alumnus who graduated in 1930.

Brown is recognised as a cornerstone of Miami’s distinguished “Cradle of Coaches,” where numerous successful football coaches have emerged.

Commenting on the partnership, Miami University president, Gregory Crawford said: “This partnership is a significant tribute to the legacy of Paul Brown, a legacy that has intertwined the Cincinnati Bengals and Miami University for decades,”

“We are thrilled at the prospect of Miami students reaping the benefits of this unique collaboration while contributing to an elite NFL franchise like the Bengals,” he said.

Ande Durojaiye, Miami’s Vice President for Strategy and Partnerships, added: “While the primary intent of this collaboration is to offer our students exclusive experiences associated with an esteemed NFL franchise, it also underscores our commitment to the city of Cincinnati and its vibrant community.”

“Given the fervent support many Miamians have for the Bengals, this partnership provides a unique avenue to engage our students and alumni, celebrating Miami’s proud standing as the ‘Cradle of Coaches,'” Durojaiye said.

As the Cincinnati Bengals’ Official University, Miami students will gain exclusive access to various engagement opportunities, including internships, job shadowing, and on-campus interactions with Bengals personnel.

In addition to student opportunities, this partnership will also afford Miami University considerable marketing advantages, including visibility on the Bengals’ website and app, as well as in Paycor Stadium through diverse advertising formats, including sideline LED signage and sponsorships in the red zone.

The agreement also encompasses radio and television advertisements, the use of Paycor Stadium for university events, social media promotion, and various brand alignment opportunities.
