Liverpool FC and adidas have officially agreed to a new multi-year partnership, marking the return of the iconic three stripes as the club’s official kit supplier from August 1, 2025.
This renewed collaboration will see adidas provide match kits, training gear, and culture wear for Liverpool’s men’s, women’s, and Academy teams, as well as LFC Foundation staff.
The deal reignites a historic partnership that has been synonymous with success, as adidas previously supplied kits for the Reds during some of their most triumphant periods.
Commenting on the partnership, Liverpool CEO, Billy Hogan, said: “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time.”
“adidas and Liverpool share an ambition of success and we couldn’t be more excited to partner together again as we look forward to creating more incredible kits to help drive on-pitch performance. We’d like to thank Nike for their support over the last five years and wish them well for the future,” he said.
adidas CEO, Bjørn Gulden, added: “We are extremely excited that adidas and Liverpool Football Club are teaming up once again. The club is one of the biggest and most iconic names in world football with a huge fan base.”
“The jerseys worn during previous partnerships are some of the greatest ever created.
We are honoured to once again provide the players with cutting-edge technology to perform at the highest level and are looking forward to creating more classics for the fans,” Gulden said.
LFC and adidas first partnered from 1985 to 1996, a period that saw the club secure multiple domestic league titles and FA Cup victories.
The relationship resumed from 2006 to 2012, delivering more silverware and cementing the brand’s status as a fan-favorite kit provider.
With the three stripes set to return to Anfield, fans eagerly anticipate the unveiling of the new home and away kits, which will be revealed through official Liverpool and adidas channels, with the fresh designs being available for purchase from August 1, 2025.
