Legends League Cricket strikes major partnership with Radio City India

The prestigious Legends League Cricket (LLC) T20 tournament has secured a new sponsorship partnership with India’s leading private FM radio station, Radio City India.

Radio City India has become the official radio partner for the upcoming edition of the LLC T20 tournament, marking a significant collaboration between the cricket league and the country’s first private FM radio station.

The partnership announcement was shared on the league’s social media platforms, with a post declaring: “Radio City brings #LegendsLeagueCricket to your radio sets! We are glad to have @radiocityindia as the Official Radio Partner for #LLCT20. Thrilling action begins on November 18th.”

Prior to this association, the LLC T20 tournament expanded its sponsorship portfolio by securing deals with Indian Railways and Mera Hoardings.

Established on July 3, 2001, Radio City India holds the distinction of being India’s first private FM radio station, broadcasting on the 91.1-megahertz frequency. The station covers regions such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Lucknow and New Delhi, offering a diverse range of music in Hindi, English and regional languages.

Radio City India had previously served as an official radio partner for the LLC Masters 2023, held in Doha, Qatar, earlier this year.

The LLC T20 league, featuring over 200 players, will host matches in various cities including Ranchi, Jammu, Dehradun, Visakhapatnam and Surat. In the previous season, India Capitals emerged victorious, claiming the title by defeating Bhilwara Kings in the final at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium by a margin of 104 runs.

This season, the league introduces two new teams, Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Southern Super Stars, enhancing the level of competition and generating increased fan interest. The upcoming LLC season is set to commence on November 18 and conclude on December 9.
