KOJO Wins Tender For Production Partnership With Stadiums Queensland

Creative studio and global sports presentation leader, KOJO, has been named as the official production partner for Queensland’s Suncorp Stadium, The Gabba, and Queensland Country Bank Stadium, after closing the competitive tender process.

In the exclusive partnership with Stadiums Queensland, KOJO will continue to grow its footprint in the state by delivering fan-first experiences at Queensland’s most iconic sporting venues, establishing its commitment to ‘The Smart State’ ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.

In 2019, KOJO set up a Brisbane-based office, building a local team specialised in sports marketing, live sports events, brand activations, and post productions.

The deal strengthens KOJO’s portfolio of six sporting venues across four states, including the recent additions of Tasmania’s Blundstone Arena, and long-term contracts with Adelaide Oval, and Optus Stadium in Perth.

Commenting on the partnership, KOJO CEO, Stephen Lord, said: “We are excited to bring our integrated approach combining strategy, creative, production and technology to the stadiums and their key hirers.”

“Our proven FanX strategic approach and deep experience as in-stadium specialists will allow us to create unique world-first fan first experiences to deliver on Stadiums Queensland’s vision of ‘amazing experiences,” he said.

Additionally, KOJO will work for the state’s home teams, including AFL’s Brisbane Lions, NRL’s Cowboys, Broncos and Dolphins, A-League’s Brisbane Roar, Super Rugby’s Reds, Cricket’s Brisbane Heat and state teams, adding to their rich roster of sports markets.

This announcement comes after KOJO expanded into the US market.
