Knights confirm 2025 Charity Partners

The nib Newcastle Knights are set to launch their 2025 Community Partner Program, a clear indication of their ongoing commitment to making a significant positive impact within the Hunter region and its surroundings.

This year’s initiative features several new charity partners while also reinforcing support for established collaborators from previous years.

With the Community Partner Program, the Knights aim to bolster the missions of these charities through various initiatives, which include engaging players and staff, donating merchandise, facilitating game day fundraising opportunities, and providing dedicated volunteers for local community events.

This collaborative approach highlights the Knights’ resolve to harness the power of sport, inspiring and uplifting the community by fostering a culture rooted in pride, respect, and success throughout the region.

The program is structured to align with the values and vision of local charitable organisations, with the goal of establishing lasting connections and generating positive change throughout the Hunter region.

New Partners

• Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network: A community-led organisation committed to suicide prevention, mental health support, and raising awareness around these critical issues.
• Hunter Medical Research Institute: This institute conducts vital medical research aimed at enhancing health outcomes, working closely with Newcastle University and Hunter New England Health.
• Guide Dogs: An organisation dedicated to supplying guide dogs and mobility services, significantly improving independence for individuals with vision impairments.
• Nova for Women and Children: This charity assists women and children facing homelessness or domestic violence, helping them secure safe housing.
• Stronger Together: Focused on supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries, this organisation advocates for accessibility and offers community aid.
• NASCA: Empowering Indigenous youth by providing education, sports programs, and cultural activities.
• Emma’s Warriors: This group supplies care kits and support for seriously ill tweens and teens during their hospital stays.
• Hunter Care Limited: This organisation helps children and young people in the Hunter region through various health, education, and community initiatives.

• OzHarvest Newcastle: As Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, OzHarvest Newcastle saves surplus food from being wasted and delivers it to charities that support those in need.
