The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have announced a significant step in their journey towards promoting women’s rugby league, revealing that their Official Pathways Partner and Women’s Pathways Partner, Jaycar, will feature prominently on the club’s first-ever NRLW jersey for the 2025 season.

Following their re-engagement with the Bulldogs for the 2024 season, Jaycar’s logo will appear on the upper back of the NRLW jersey for both the 2025 and 2026 seasons, underscoring their commitment to advancing the club’s women’s program.

Expressing excitement over this collaboration, confirming that it marks a continuation of Jaycar’s esteemed connection to the club, Bulldogs CEO, Aaron Warburton, said: “The Jaycar Electronics Group has long been a valued part of the Bulldogs family, and we are thrilled to see their legacy continue with this historic milestone,”

“Our partnership began in 2009 with Gary Johnston and his wife Kerry-Anne, whose passion for the club was evident from the outset. Gary’s legacy lives on through Jaycar’s ongoing support, and we remain deeply grateful to Kerry-Anne for her continued dedication to the Bulldogs.

“Featuring Jaycar on our inaugural NRLW jersey is especially fitting. The Group has played a vital role in supporting our Pathways and Academy programs, and now they will join us as we celebrate a landmark moment with our NRLW side’s first game on July 4. Jaycar’s belief in the Bulldogs and the future of women’s rugby league is something we truly value,” Warburton said.

Jaycar CEO, Justin Mackedie, added: “We are absolutely thrilled to be displayed on the Bulldogs’ inaugural NRLW jersey.”

“While we have been part of the NRL side’s jersey and supported the Club’s Academy sides in recent years, this new venture allows us to extend our partnership into new frontiers in the NRLW space,” Mackedie noted.

Since reuniting with the Bulldogs, Jaycar has expanded its support across multiple tiers, contributing to the NSW Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, SG Ball Cup, Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership, Tarsha Gale Cup, and Lisa Fiaola Cup teams.
