Isuzu UTE Australia Announce Three-Year Partnership with Football Australia

Football Australia has announced Isuzu UTE Australia as the Official Automotive Partner of Australia’s national teams.

The three-year, “whole-of-football” agreement unites the automotive giant with the country’s most recognisable sporting brands, including the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos.

Commenting on the partnership, Football Australia CEO, Martin Kugeler, said: “Football Australia is proud to partner with Isuzu UTE Australia, marking another significant milestone in our commitment to high-quality commercial partnerships.”

“The next few years will be key for the growth of football in Australia. Having aligned commercial partners who believe in our sport… is essential,” Kugeler said.

Emphasising the brand’s long-term commitment, managing director of Isuzu UTE Australia, Mr Junta Matsui, added: “Extending our partnership within football allows Isuzu UTE Australia to further cement our presence and commitment to the sport in Australia.”

“We can’t wait to get behind the teams in their quest for success,” Matsui said.

The deal represents an expansion for Isuzu UTE Australia, which has already served as the naming rights partner of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and a major supporter of the Ninja A-League Women for over four years.

This partnership extends their footprint into the entire national team pathway, encompassing youth squads (U17s, U20s, and U23s) and the CommBank Pararoos and ParaMatildas inclusion programs.

ISUZU’s Timing and Market Strategy

The partnership arrives as Isuzu UTE Australia celebrates its own momentum, having surpassed the 400,000th local vehicle delivery in December 2025. Maximising this scale, the organisation and its nationwide dealer network will launch a series of digital content pieces and community engagement activations featuring the flagship D-MAX and MU-X models.

Commercial and Tournament Focus (2026-2028):

  • CommBank Matildas: Preparation for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™, set to kick off in Perth, Sydney, and the Gold Coast next week.

  • CommBank Socceroos: High-performance support as the team gears up for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in North America.

  • A-Leagues Integration: Continued investment as the automotive partner of both the Men’s and Women’s premier domestic competitions.
