The NBL’s Illawarra Hawks has formed a new partnership with Sustagen Sport to help assist players with performance and recovery.

Sustagen Sport is a low fat, nutritious powdered supplement suitable for all types of sports people to drink before or after training sessions to assist performance and recovery.

The new deal, which will start against the New Zealand Breakers this Friday, will see Sustagen Sports logo displayed on the Hawks Jersey.

The Hawks are the only remaining foundation National Basketball League (NBL) team to have competed in every season since the league’s inception in 1979,

Illawarra General Manager, Mat Campbell, said: “We welcome the Sustagen Sport Team to the Illawarra family and thank them for their support of the club.

“We are on an exciting journey at the Hawks as we expand our footprint into new regions such as the ACT and introduce initiatives like last Sunday’s Indigenous Game against the Sydney Kings.

“The support of brands like Sustagen Sport is a strong endorsement of the direction of the club and its culture and we are looking forward to a long and successful partnership.”

The Hungry Jack’s NBL is enjoying record high attendances and broadcast audiences with the 2018/19 one of the closest on record.
