Hyundai encourages fans to ‘Have a Fling with Football’
FIFA World Cup sponsors Hyundai Australia, has just released its television campaign which features rugby star Wendell Sailor, cricket player Damien Fleming and AFL sportsman Luke Hodge.
The FIFA World Cup integrated sponsorship campaign, ‘Have a Fling with Football’ Created by Octagon and produced by Milkmoney will run from June 6 to July 15, 2018.
Hyundai’s idea is to use the three renowned athletes in Sailor, Fleming and Hodge to entice Australians to switch from their regular sporting codes for a few special weeks of football.
The campaign will include ambassador-led TVC, official match screening events, a broadcast partnership with SBS, a competition to win a Hyundai car, along with public relations and influencer engagement.
Oliver Mann, marketing director – Hyundai Motor Company Australia, said in a statement: “Hyundai loves football. As the naming rights partner for the Hyundai A-League since its inception in 2005, we also support everything from grassroots football to the National Teams and the FIFA World Cup.
“This World Cup, Hyundai is inviting all Australians to have a fling with football and get swept up in World Cup fever.”
