yperice has announced a multi-year partnership agreement with NFL franchise, the Kansas City Chiefs, becoming the club’s official recovery technology partner.

Being the company’s first partnership with an individual NFL team, the Super Bowl LIV Championship team will integrate Hyperice technologies into the team’s program.

The two organisations will leverage the Cheif’s fanbase to educate as many people as possible on technologies used, motivating them to improve their own health and wellbeing.

Exclusive access to the training regiment’s of players will also be offered, with Hyperice integrated into the team’s themed fitness centre, Chiefs Fit.

Open as of US Spring 2021, Chiefs Fit is a 37,000 square foot health and recovery centre at the Regency Park Shopping Centre in Overland Park, Kansas.

Hyperice CEO, Jim Huether, said: “Today’s announcement doubles down on our existing partnerships with the NFL and individually with Patrick Mahomes as we look to champion the importance of recovery technology for Chiefs players and fans alike.”

“We now have the opportunity to positively affect players’ career longevity, while introducing the Chiefs’ fanbase to tools and technologies that will help them move better,” he said.

Chiefs president, Mark Donovan, said: “Physical health and recovery are key components to any team’s success, and we are very excited to be the first NFL team to partner with Hyperice, the industry leader in recovery technology and equipment.”

“Vice president of Sports Medicine and Performance, Rick Burkholder, and his team have long relied on the technology and tools provided by Hyperice to help our players prepare for – and endure – the rigors of a long football season.

“In addition to welcoming Hyperice to our stadium and our practice facility, we’re thrilled to be bringing Hyperice technology and equipment to Chiefs Fit as we help Chiefs Kingdom experience the benefits that Hyperice technology is already offering our players,” Donovan said.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, who is also a brand ambassador of Hyperice with his own personal partnership, said: “Hyperice is an integral part of my training, game day warmup, and recovery.”

“Now that Hyperice is an official partner of Chiefs, it’s great for fans to recognise Hyperice as the technology we utilise for recovery,” Mahomes said.

Mahomes will serve as the centre of marketing for the partnership.
