Hockey Australia, in collaboration with its Member Associations, has unveiled a new national integrity management platform and reporting hotline.
This initiative is aligned with the National Integrity Framework and represents an advancement in the sport’s enduring commitment to fostering safe, fair, and inclusive environments for all involved in hockey.
Commenting on the launch, Hockey Australia CEO, David Pryles, said: “This marks another vital progression in our efforts to protect our sport.”
“We are pleased to roll out a nationally consistent platform that enhances how we prevent, detect, and respond to integrity-related matters across hockey.”
Pryles also emphasised the value of partnering with Australian-made solutions like Rely and Your Call, which will contribute to a cohesive nationwide approach involving all eight state and territory hockey associations.
He urged community members to utilise these resources whenever necessary, reinforcing the collective responsibility to ensure that hockey remains a safe and inclusive sport.
Rely co-founder, Nathan Luker, added: “When sport prioritises integrity, the entire community reaps the benefits. Rely is honoured to assist Hockey Australia in promoting safe, fair, and inclusive participation for all individuals across Australia.”
Effective immediately, members of the Australian hockey community can now report integrity issues more easily through a modern, secure platform that is nationally harmonised.
Utilising the reputable case management system, Rely, the initiative is further boosted by a dedicated reporting hotline operated by Your Call.
This infrastructure facilitates clear and accessible channels for reporting integrity concerns at all levels of the sport.
The introduction of this platform enhances the consistency of matter handling across the hockey landscape. It also aims to capture vital intelligence and shared insights, enabling stakeholders to identify trends, develop stronger prevention strategies, and make informed decisions grounded in evidence.
This new platform complements a broader integrity initiative within the sport, which includes educational programs that resemble theatre sports for state and national teams, the establishment of the Safe Hockey Lead Network, the distribution of the Goalie’s Watch integrity newsletter, and the introduction of Safekeeper Sam, a character designed to convey integrity messages and embody the protective qualities of goalkeepers.
Collectively, these efforts underscore the sport’s ongoing alignment with the National Integrity Framework and reflect a coordinated, comprehensive approach to creating safe, fair, and inclusive playing conditions.
Participants looking to report integrity matters can access the platform via a dedicated link or through their respective Member Association’s website.
