Gold Coast’s Cbus Super Stadium makes switch to Ticketmaster in multi-year deal

Ticketmaster has unveiled a multi-year ticketing collaboration with Cbus Super Stadium, home ground of NRL club Gold Coast Titans and operated by Stadiums Queensland.

Situated in Robina, the rectangular stadium boasts a capacity exceeding 27,000 for major sporting spectacles. As well as being the Titans’ base, Cbus Super Stadium – which opened as Skilled Park in 2008 – has showcased an array of other events, including concerts, rugby union Tests, football matches and community events.

Stadiums Queensland’s decision to opt for Ticketmaster is designed to provide an elevated fan experience, granting attendees access to Ticketmaster’s state-of-the-art ticketing infrastructure.

Having been a Ticketek venue since its doors opened 15 years ago, Cbus Super Stadium is set to transition to Ticketmaster ahead of the 2024 NRL campaign and the Titans’ season opener against St George Illawarra Dragons on March 9.

Gavin Taylor, the Managing Director of Ticketmaster Australia, expressed pride in extending their valued partnership with Stadiums Queensland and expanding it further with the inclusion of Cbus Super Stadium.

“We are excited by the opportunities our new ticketing partnership with Cbus Super Stadium presents,” Taylor said.

“Our solutions will provide a reliable and seamless event experience for all music and sports fans attending the venue in the coming years.

“Through growing content opportunities and implementing new digital ticketing innovations, we believe that with Stadiums Queensland, we will have the chance to bring these opportunities to life.

“Ticketmaster has maintained a strong relationship with Stadiums Queensland for years now and is thrilled to now build on our partnership with Gold Coast’s leading stadium.”

Echoing these sentiments, Cbus Super Stadium General Manager Kristian Blundell expressed her enthusiasm for the change in ticketing provider.

“We are really pleased to have Ticketmaster join the Cbus Super Stadium team and through this partnership, we’re looking forward to a fresh approach to fan experience, event planning and execution, marketing and customer purchasing options, such as online accessibility ticketing,” Blundell offered.

“Gold Coast Titans members in particular will benefit from a range of real-time functionalities unlocked by the integration between the Ticketmaster ticketing system and the Gold Coast Titans membership platform, which is already delivered by Ticketmaster.

“Ticketmaster has demonstrated strong partnerships with clients all over the world, delivering impressive strategic outcomes and we look forward to working closely with them to attract more great events for the region as Cbus Super Stadium continues to evolve and add to our portfolio of events.”

In addition to collaborating with Ticketmaster, Cbus Super Stadium will also partner with Live Nation, the world’s largest live entertainment company, and other content providers to curate and deliver a diverse range of events for the venue.

In addition to the Titans’ 2024 home NRL schedule, the stadium will also feature The Kid Laroi’s concert in February and the Freestyle Kings Live motocross show in March.
