Gold Coast Suns Launch Suns Active Lab Alongside Playbk Sports and The Queensland Government

In partnership with the Queensland Government and Playbk Sports, the Gold Coast Suns this week launched Suns Active Lab, a free online fitness program tailored to young people aged between 12-17.   

The platform is accessible via smartphone, giving participants access to inclusive fitness programs, all designed by staff members at the Gold Coast Suns.  

With 100+ professionally produced videos across seven fitness areas – strength, speed, agility, mobility, aerobic, warm up/cool down and technique, the app hopes to reduce barriers such as cost and affordability.  

The Suns Active Lab is tapping into a crucial demographic that could form the future core of their fan base.  This initiative demonstrates how sports organisations are adapting to digital transformation. By offering an online platform, the Suns are not just reaching out to potential fans in their immediate geographic region but could potentially engage a broader audience.
