Garnier returns to Australian Open as Official Skincare and Haircare Partner

Tennis Australia has announced the widely popular beauty brand, Garnier, as the Official Skincare and Haircare Partner of the Australian Open 2019.

Garnier makes its return to the Melbourne tennis event ten years after their initial launch in 2009. “We are excited to welcome Garnier back to the Australian Open family,” Australian Open Tournament Director, Craig Tiley said.

“For years Garnier was synonymous with the Australian Open and we look forward to this new era in our relationship.”

With such a successful history as a partner of the Grand Slam of the Asia-Pacific, Garnier is excited to be back on the court celebrating summer with some of the world’s best tennis players and Australian fans of the skincare and haircare brand.

As part of the deal, Garnier will bring to life an immersive, nature’s playground-inspired experience at Grand Slam Oval, with fans of all ages encouraged to celebrate a new brand identity, By Garnier, Naturally.

Garnier Australia Marketing Manager, Tim Plant, said: “Like the Australian Open, the Garnier brand has changed in many ways over the past 10 years and we want to show everyone from professional players, spectators and fans of all ages that Garnier is the affordable, natural and accessible brand for all their skincare and hair care needs.”

The new brand identity, By Garnier, Naturally, is a seamless extension of the brand’s ongoing commitment to natural and sustainable production processes for the next generation to come.

More than 25,000 fans are expected to walk through the activation and receive a Garnier goodie bag containing the brand’s latest must-haves.
