The Freo Fundamentals School Program commenced Term 1 with an energetic launch, where the complimentary initiative encompassed three interactive sessions conducted by the Fremantle Dockers’ dedicated team, concentrating on essential movement skills such as balance, coordination, and agility.
The highlight of the program is the Freo Fundamentals Gala Day, held at the Fremantle Football Club in Cockburn.
This event provided an engaging opportunity for students to interact with Fremantle players, meet the Club’s mascots, Jenny and Johnny, and leave with some exciting giveaways.

In attendance were six AFLW players, showcasing the diversity of role models for the young participants:
Supported by a partnership with Notre Dame’s Health and Physical Education students, this program not only contributes to the development of future educators but also fosters a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment for aspiring footy stars.
As the program unfolds, the initiative continues to highlight Fremantle’s commitment to nurturing the next generation in the sport.
