Foxtel Announces Major Partnership For Australian Boxing

Foxtel Group has announced a new partnership with No Limit Boxing, where Foxtel and Kayo Sports will be the exclusive supplier of Australian boxing events.

The partnership will see all No Limit boxers feature on Foxtel, including World Boxing Organisation super welterweight contender, Jason Tszyu.

Additionally, all bouts will be shown exclusively to 2.8 million subscribers on Foxtel and Kayo.

Commenting on the partnership, Foxtel Group CEO, Patrick Delaney, said: “There is no doubt we are in a renaissance of boxing right now, with great fighters, big names and major bouts.”

“The opportunity to partner with No Limit Boxing exclusively will take it to the next level after a record-breaking year for Main Event.

“We have backed boxing in Australia for more than 25 years, growing the sport through our pay-per-view platform which has showcased all the unmissable fights.

“That’s why we’re huge supporters of No Limit – who are first-class promoters dedicated to nurturing future champions to compete on the world stage.

“No Limit is an amazing First Nations business founded by the Rose brothers – George, Matt and Trent.

“We’re committed to continuing to strengthen our contribution to reconciliation as one of the largest sports broadcasters in Australia, and we will continue to look for opportunities like this to use our reach to amplify a diversity of voices and talent across our platforms.

“This partnership will not only deliver the best boxing content to our subscribers – it will also support No Limit to continue their important work in identifying and developing Australia’s boxing stars of tomorrow,” he said.

No Limit CEO, George Rose, added: “No Limit is proud to have the best roster of fighters in the country and the events we put on are world-class. It’s clear Foxtel Group are the undisputed pay-per-view leaders and with their enormous and fast-growing audience they are bringing more fans into the sport than ever before.”

“This partnership makes us an unstoppable force and brings the best of the best together.

“Boxing is back in the spotlight where it belongs and 2023 promises to be bigger than ever.

“Not only do we have Tim Tszyu fighting for the undisputed world-title but Liam Wilson is expected to secure a world title fight in February. We also have an exciting triple-header in March featuring Nikita Tszyu, Harry Garside and Paulo Aokuso,” Rose said.

The announcement comes after the Foxtel upfronts revealed the company’s content for 2023.
